Gramin Yuva Pragatik Mandal is registered organization under society’s registration act 1860. GYPM was formally formed in 1992 in the initiative of Mr. Avil Borkar and his like minded friends with the motivation of social change and sustainable development. Basically the group was formed non-formally in 1987 and promoters were youths and with the intention to work in their village for social development. As an responsible actor in social and sustainable development we are promoting such process that would help poorer to enhance their livelihood resources and enjoy dignified life. GYPM has conducted various government program focusing social justice, youth & women development as well as agriculture development models by using the community funds and involvement. Therefore, national international organizations are expecting collaboration with GYPM for the partnership in developing livelihood and right base programs.

  Future Plan of the Organization for Expansion/Growth :  
   

The organization is in the process of preparing a perspective plan with the new Board. It is exploring a few options like extending operating area to Chhatisgarh and MP, security of permanent employment to staff, registration as per the Companies Act and get into marketing of the products manufactured by SHG women. All these options will be deliberated upon and the final perspective document will be prepared.
